With the switch to 100 % organic food, we face more food-related problems. Maintaining the derogation of the 350 m length of journeys is, for us, the essential content of the configuration of our land. Review the 48-hour withdrawal period for medicines with zero withdrawal period. Study the feasibility of increasing the density inside buildings, without affecting the outdoor range for the lack of egg production.

I am a farmer of organic laying hens and therefore concerned by the various laws. I am in favour of the proposal to simplify Regulation (EU) 2018/848 on biological production. With the implementation of the various regulations I encounter great difficulties: the switch to 100 % organic food is one of them; problem of regularity and quality of the food (which causes picking and behavioural problems).

I am run in organic farming and I think that there should be no concession whatsoever on the very principles of why organic farming exists. In my view, the Pandore box should not be opened up to specific cases, to the endless derogations which will ultimately only weaken this sign of quality and which will not allow us a fine to distinguish ourselves from consumers once again we need to trust research in order to…
