We consider it essential that the digital transformation is aligned not only with technological and economic objectives, but also with the protection of the environment, public health, privacy, security and fundamental rights.

The Citizens’ Association Elektrosmog and Health welcomes this initiative as this initiative would help deliver on the European Green Deal with the main objective of reducing consumer energy bills and improving the EU’s security of supply by reducing primary energy consumption and reducing energy imports. However, one aspect has not been identified in the proposed Directive: wireless communications.
