We welcome the European Commission’s intention to establish sustainability criteria for plastic recycling technologies as part of the delegated act. These criteria can make an important contribution to transparency and to achieving the objectives of the circular economy. At the same time, they should be designed in a way that encourages innovation and does not unintentionally hinder it.
