From Eco-Union, think Tank based in Barcelona, as part of our Viaja en Verde initiative, we are leading research, impact and awareness-raising actions to promote the decarbonisation of tourism and business mobility in Spain. Our main objective is to accelerate the transition from air transport and internal combustion cars to more sustainable modes such as rail and battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

Eco-union welcomes the European Commissions initiative to develop a European Ocean Act as a strategic opportunity to strengthen maritime governance, reinforce the ecosystem-based approach, and promote the sustainable use of marine and coastal resources.
The Europe On Rail initiative (www.europeonrail.eu), an European Civil society initiative to promote cross-borders passengers rail, represented here by the association ECO-UNION: 1- Acknowledge the Commission has rightly recognized the shortcomings of the current passenger rights implementation. 2- Regret that the scope of the initiative does not allow to fully tackle the issues with rail passenger rights.
