I welcome the intention of the IAA, but make four criticisms: 1. Limit origin requirements to Europe in order to strengthen the incentive to invest in Europe. 2. Minimise exemptions and circumvention opportunities so that the IAA becomes a reliable and bankable basis for investment decisions. 3. Stop further dilution of the IAA’s ambition and keep batteries in the IAA as a strategically important component. 4.
