The Polish State Forests appreciate the European Commission's initiative to enhance the sustainability and resilience of forests across the European Union through the New EU Forest Strategy 2030. We support the ambition in the strategy to promote the multifunctional role of forests. At the same time, however, there are uncertainties about the added value of the current proposal for a forest monitoring regulation.
