Danish construction professions support a revision of the EU public procurement directives. Despite the intention, the current directives have not managed to create fair competition or to counteract the major problems of social dumping and labour crime, which unfortunately plague the European construction sector.

Danish Construction Unions (Danske Byggefag) welcomes the Commission initiative to present a Fair Labour Mobility Package. We strongly support the planned proposals for a European Social Security Pass and the revision of the European Labour Authority as well as any other initiative to ensure fair labour mobility and fair competition.
