We welcome that the EU Commission has launched a Call for Evidence to improve the usability and impact of the current framework. However, we regret that the Commission has not taken the opportunity to review the SFDR together with the Omnibus I package as the two legislative frameworks are closely linked to each other but lack consistency and should be aligned.

ETNO Comments on the European Commission’s Inception Impact Assessment on the Review of the NIS Directive July 2020 ETNO welcomes the European Commission’s (EC) initiative to review the Network and Information Systems (NIS) Directive in light of current technological, market and regulatory developments. Ensuring an effective pan-European instrument for the security of network and information systems is paramount.

ETNO welcomes the European Commission’s (hereinafter ‘’the EC’’) initiative to consult stakeholders on the inception impact assessments of the Roaming Regulation review. Since the Regulation entered into force, EU roaming markets have evolved substantially. The competition dynamics based on commercial negotiations are important elements of the market evolution.
