The recent publication of the 2030 Climate Plan by the European Commission has increased the overall GHG emission reduction target for 2030 from -40 % to -55 % (compared to 1990 level). The long-term reduction target for 2050 remains unchanged, however, the new plan requires more effort in multiple sectors in the next decade.

We hereby submit a written submission to the Draft Regulation for the Just Transition Fund, on behalf of the employers’ associations of service stations Espñolas AEVECAR and CEEES (the two majority), which bring together the majority of service stations, mostly owned by family SMEs and employing more than 55.000 workers directly.
