Governance, actors and frameworks Alignment with MFF: Building on the positive example of aligning GAP III with the current funding cycle, GAP IV should be aligned with the EUs next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034. Financial targets under GAP IV should be clearly reflected in the Global Europe regulation to ensure coherence between the EUs policy and funding frameworks to strengthen accountability.
