As the Conseil National du Logiciel Libre (CNLL), representing over 300 French SMEs and mid-caps, we affirm that Open Source software is not just a technical choice but the foundation of Europes digital sovereignty and industrial competitiveness. For too long, Europe has allowed its digital infrastructure to be dominated by non-European tech giants, draining value, innovation, and autonomy from our economy.
The CNLL, representing over 300 French companies in the free and Open Source software (F/OSS) sector, welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the "Call for Evidence for an Impact Assessment" on the revision of the Standardisation Regulation. This revision is a critical opportunity to build a future-proof legal framework that supports the EUs goals of a resilient, competitive, and sovereign digital economy.
