From the experience gained through several European projects as well as supporting the French Authorities, Cerema would like to share a few considerations in relation with the initial policy measures proposed under the call for evidence.

Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 326 consultation files tracked so far (29,503 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

Their record over time
CEREMA filed 2 positions between 9 Feb 2026 and 6 Mar 2026, across 2 of the 326 legislative files tracked here.
What they argued
Cerema is supporting the maritime strategic planning. In France, it is embedding the implementation of both MSFD and the MSP Directive in a planning document with a broader scope of integrated management of sea and coast (close to Sustainable Ocean Planning - SOP). From this experience, we would like to derive some ideas for the evolution of MSFD.

Organizations that also filed on at least two of the same consultations. A shared interest in the same dossiers — not evidence of coordination, and we do not suggest any.
