Existing regulatory frameworks insufficiently support circularity: The recycling and recovery rate of critical raw materials, essential to mitigate supply risks, is often close to zero and the quality of secondary raw materials is often low. Current EU rules do not sufficiently facilitate recycling and recovery of critical raw materials from relevant waste streams and investments in recycling processes are lacking.

Bureau Veritas welcomes the Commission's initiative to review the EU Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act, and shares the ambition to strengthen the framework's environmental integrity while improving its practical workability for economic operators and third-party verifiers alike.

Hi, I would suggest clarifying how exactly the implementation of DPP will be monitored by national / EU bodies. Ex. Who will do what / in which way / at which frequency / financed by whom / what's the penalty, etc. As we learned from previous practices, regulatory requirements will make sense only if a robust monitoring system will be put in place and will be properly financed.
