BREKO welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the review of the Digital Decade Policy Programme (DDPP). The Programme has played an important role in accelerating the deployment of digital infrastructure across the European Union and in providing a shared strategic framework for Member States.
BREKO welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing debate on the evolution of the merger control guidelines in the EU telecommunications markets. In the German telecommunications market, mergers have not played a significant role in driving fibre deployment or in strengthening competition.
