Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 326 consultation files tracked so far (29,503 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

Who they are

Among the 784 non-governmental organisations on this site, they rank #304 by legislative files engaged — a count of participation, not a measure of influence.

What they argued

Vision 2040 for fisheries and aquaculturefiled 24 Mar 2026PDFsource

Blue Marine Foundation has endorsed the Vision for fair and low impact fisheries in Europe, developed jointly by Seas At Risk and the Low Impact Fishers of Europe (LIFE) and believes that this Vision should be the basis for the 2040 Vision for the Fisheries and Aquaculture sector that the European Commission is preparing.

An EU strategy for fisheries external actionfiled 17 Sept 2025PDFsource

Blue Marine welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the call for evidence for an EU strategy on fisheries external action. In our reply (attached), we raise two important topics for consideration and improvement: (1) the discrimination of West Africa crew working on board European fishing vessels; and (2) the continued mismanagement of drifting fish aggregating devices.

Organizations that also filed on at least two of the same consultations. A shared interest in the same dossiers — not evidence of coordination, and we do not suggest any.

Is this your organization?

Everything on this page comes from Blue Marine Foundation’s own submissions to the European Commission — we have added nothing and interpreted nothing. If something is wrong or out of date, email info@policyspeak.com and we will correct it. If you are an individual named in a record, our privacy policy sets out your rights to correction, objection and removal.
