Biocodex welcomes the European Commission's initiative to establish a dedicated EU Biotech Act and fully supports its objective of strengthening Europe's biotechnology ecosystem. While the proposal is an important step forward, we believe its impact could be enhanced by ensuring that the framework also addresses the needs of mid-sized innovative companies alongside start-ups and SMEs.
