The Basque Government welcomes the European "Right to Stay" initiative. We would like to contribute to its design and development by sharing the Basque Country's experience in the field of the Social Economy, understood as a means of driving economic and social development through collective action rooted in the territory, and as an effective guarantee of the Right to Stay.
A European regulation on quantum science and technologies should position Europe and its regions as international leaders in this field. It is crucial to consider European diversity and integrate regional, state and global visions. The regional approach has proven to be effective in previous European strategies, and it is therefore important to strengthen the role of the regions.
