Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 326 consultation files tracked so far (29,503 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.
Who they are
Among the 1205 trade and business associations on this site, they rank #447 by legislative files engaged — a count of participation, not a measure of influence.

What they argued
AVEC the Association of Poultry Processors and Poultry Trade in the EU and ELPHA the European Live Poultry and Hatching eggs Association - represents the EU poultry meat sector from breed to meat. We welcome the possibility offered by the Commission to provide feedback on the call for evidence aiming at updating the rules on organic production. Our proposal is available in attachment.
AVEC (transparency number 9803788883-16), representing the EU poultry meat sector, would like to thank the Commission to give use the possibility to provide feedbacks on this public consultation on the upcoming legislative proposal on substantiating green claims.
AVEC, ELPHA and EPB strongly support the proposed extension until 31 December 2036. The continued structural shortage of suitable organic protein feed is well documented by Member States. Young poultry have specific requirements for essential amino acids during their early growth stages. Failure to meet these requirements can negatively affect animal health, development and welfare.
