Overall, the members of A.N.O.D.E welcome the European Commission’s proposal. To start with, we are reassured by the maintenance of the current electricity market architecture, in particular the marginal pricing system and the functioning of the short-term markets, which are essential to guarantee the correct pricing signals and ensure supply-demand balance at European level.
