ACT considers that adding AV content to the 2018 Geoblocking regulation will have a direct and negative impact on the financing of and the distribution of opportunities as well as on the recoupment and incentives driving investments. ACT agrees that the fundamental principles of the E-commerce directive remain valid. The DSA should provide targeted solutions to tackle specific illegal/ harmful activities whilst being coherent with sector specific regulations and existing CJEU and national case law.
