GeneratedRegulation (EU) 2017/2394 sets minimum investigation and enforcement powers for national consumer authorities and creates a mutual assistance and coordinated action framework for cross-border and EU-wide infringements. It applies from 17 January 2020, replacing Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004. It covers online and offline traders, with powers including test purchases, content removal and penalties.
