GeneratedCouncil Regulation (EU) 2016/1103 sets rules on jurisdiction, applicable law, and recognition and enforcement of decisions on matrimonial property regimes with cross-border implications. It applies from 29 January 2019 in the Member States participating in enhanced cooperation. It covers daily management and liquidation of matrimonial property, and lets spouses choose the applicable law.
