GeneratedDirective 2006/88/EC sets animal health requirements for placing on the market, importing and transiting aquaculture animals, plus prevention and control measures for listed aquatic animal diseases. Member States had to apply national transposing provisions from 1 August 2008, when it repealed Directives 91/67/EEC, 93/53/EEC and 95/70/EC.
