GeneratedCouncil Regulation (EC) No 639/2004 sets specific fishing capacity reference levels for fleets registered in the outermost regions and derogates from the CFP entry/exit and fleet renewal rules. It applied from 1 January 2003. Derogations on new capacity and modernisation aid ended by 31 December 2006, and renewal aid by 31 December 2005. Vessels transferred to the continent must repay aid.
