GeneratedDirective 2002/21/EC sets a harmonized EU framework for regulating electronic communications networks and services, tasks national regulatory authorities and requires market analysis before ex ante obligations. Member States had to transpose it by 24 July 2003 and apply national measures from 25 July 2003. It covers network and service providers, NRAs and spectrum and numbering management.
