GeneratedDirective 2002/22/EC guarantees a minimum set of electronic communications services at an affordable price and sets end-user rights. Member States had to apply it from 25 July 2003. It covers fixed-line connection, directories, public payphones, the 112 emergency number, contracts, number portability and universal service financing.
