GeneratedCouncil Regulation (EC) No 2799/98 sets agrimonetary rules for the euro, applying from 1 January 1999. It expresses CAP prices and amounts in euro, converts them for non-participating Member States at market exchange rates, and defines the operative event for the rate. It allows compensatory aid for appreciable revaluations, with Articles 4-6 limited to revaluations before 1 January 2002.
