GeneratedDirective 2006/87/EC sets harmonized technical requirements and Community inland navigation certificates for inland waterway vessels of 20 m or more, or 100 m3 or more, including passenger vessels carrying over 12 passengers. It replaced Directive 82/714/EEC with effect from 30 December 2008. Member States had to transpose it by that date. The act is in force.
