GeneratedRegulation (EC) No 1980/2000 replaced the 1992 Community eco-label scheme with a revised voluntary award scheme for goods and services. It sets eco-label criteria by product group, excludes food, drink, pharmaceuticals and certain medical devices, and bars labels for very toxic or carcinogenic substances. It entered into force on the third day after publication in the Official Journal.
