Summary
GeneratedDirective 2001/110/EC sets composition requirements and reserved product names for honey placed on the EU market. Member States had to authorize compliant marketing from 1 August 2003 and prohibit non-compliant products from 1 August 2004. Labels must state the country of origin; blends may use EC/non-EC wording. Filtered and baker's honey face bulk-market labeling duties.
