Summary
GeneratedDirective 95/64/EC requires Member States to collect Community statistics on goods and passengers carried by seagoing vessels calling at their ports. National implementing laws were due by 1 January 1997, with the first data transmission covering the first quarter of 1997. Member States select ports handling over one million tonnes of goods or 200,000 passenger movements annually.
