Summary
GeneratedDirective 94/22/EC sets non-discrimination rules for granting authorizations to prospect, explore for and produce hydrocarbons. Member States keep control of which areas to open, but must publish notices in the Official Journal with at least 90 days to apply. It applies to authorizations granted from 1 July 1995, the compliance deadline. It was last amended by Regulation (EU) 2018/1999.
