Summary
GeneratedDirective 88/407/EEC sets animal health conditions for intra-EU trade in and imports of deep-frozen bovine semen. Semen must come from approved, supervised collection centers and travel with an animal health certificate. Member States had to comply by 1 January 1990. It covers bovine semen only, not porcine.
